@FLORA in Comments & Skills on Every Node

This week FLORA moves into the places you already work: mention @FLORA in a canvas comment and it acts on the nodes right next to the thread, while text, image and video nodes all pick up /skills, and text nodes can call your connected apps. You also get live 3D layers in the Image Editor, nested project folders, a Decks tab in the library, and a set of canvas layout tools.

New

  1. @FLORA in comment threads

Mention @FLORA in any canvas comment and it joins the thread as a teammate: it runs on that canvas and replies right there.

    MoreLess

It knows where the comment sits and which nodes are nearby, so “make this brighter” or “redo these” lands on the right nodes without naming them.

  2. Skills on image and video nodes

Type / in an image or video node to pick a skill from your library.

    MoreLess

The skill's instructions shape the prompt sent to the model, so a style guide or shot recipe you've written once applies to every run.

  3. A smarter text node

Text nodes now support /skills, @-mentions of your connected apps with per-node toggles, read-only access to your FLORA projects, and a TXT or Markdown output switch.

    MoreLess

A plain prompt still works exactly as before.

  4. Live 3D layers in the Image Editor

Bring a 3D model into the Image Editor as a real layer and orbit it in place to find the angle you want.

    MoreLess

A flat render of the current pose stands in on the canvas, in exports and in downstream nodes.

  5. Nested project folders

    Folders can now hold subfolders.

    MoreLess

Right-click inside a folder for New project or New folder, move folders into other folders, and use the breadcrumb to jump back up.

  6. Decks in your library

A new Decks tab in the library and dashboard collects every deck you make, with folders, Private and Workspace views, so you can find a deck without opening the canvas it lives on.

  7. Copy and paste slides

Right-click slides in the deck filmstrip to copy them and paste them into the same deck or another deck in the project.

  8. Align nodes

The Autoformat button is now an Align menu: line up a selection left, center, right, top, middle or bottom, distribute it evenly, or auto-format it as before.

  9. Resize image nodes

Drag a corner or edge to resize an image node on the canvas; its aspect ratio always stays locked.

  10. Pick image and video models in chat

Choose the image and video model (and its options) right in the chat composer, and the agent uses your pick when it generates.

Improved

  1. Zoom into fullscreen videos

Fullscreen videos now zoom and pan like images, with the +/− controls, pinch or Ctrl-scroll zoom, and drag to pan.

  2. See the seed behind a generation

The fullscreen detail panel shows the seed each generation used, even when it was picked automatically.

    MoreLess

Click to copy it and reproduce a result.

  3. Image mode for video nodes

On video models that read images as frames or as references, such as MiniMax H3 Max, Seedance 2.0 and WAN 3.0, choose how each image is used.

    MoreLess

H3 Max also gains 1080P, 1–4 second clips, and a pinned soundtrack.

  4. Folders across the library

Add folders to the Elements tab, and create shared workspace folders in Assets, Elements and Styles so a team can organize by client or project.

  5. Comments tag their node

Starting a comment from a node, or on top of one, pre-fills that node's tag so the comment references it automatically.

  6. Filter project search

The Cmd+K Projects tab adds an All / Workspace / Private filter, so private projects are easy to find.

  7. One skills library

FAUNA and chat now share the same skills library and skills menu, and skills created in chat get an auto-generated cover image.

  8. Clear model retirement notices

If a saved node points at a retired model, FLORA tells you which model it used instead.

  9. Smoother Image Editor collaboration

In the fullscreen Image Editor you can see which layers collaborators have selected, outlined in their colors.

Fixes

  • Tabs left open across a FLORA release now keep working instead of failing with a “Server Action not found” error.
  • Text generations that hit the output length limit now fail instead of charging you for a cut-off result.
  • The Import file picker works reliably in Safari, and right-clicking the canvas in Safari no longer shows a stray Paste bubble.
  • Control-click on macOS opens the canvas context menu, and Enter runs selected 3D generation nodes.
  • A resized media node keeps its size, and a duplicated node no longer shows as still generating.
  • Replacing a video in a node picks up the new clip's duration.
  • In decks, Escape saves your slide text edit, copied layers paste into a different deck, and Space or Enter no longer act on the focused filmstrip slide.
  • FAUNA conversations reload with their full history, and audio @-mentions work with Seedance 2.5.
  • Restoring a project from trash explains when your project limit blocks it.

FLORA Weekly

This week puts you back in control of the canvas: stop any generation mid-run, rework your node graph faster, and share an exact spot on a canvas with a single link. Other improvements: you can change your own account email, and Decks picks up text links, layer copy-paste, and a roomier editor.

New

  1. Cancel a generation mid-run

Stop any in-flight generation and clear it instantly.

    MoreLess

A Cancel button sits beside Run all whenever something is running, with matching options in the canvas right-click menu and each queue row's “…” menu. The node snaps back to its pre-run state and a late result never lands on it — so you are never stuck waiting out a run you didn't mean to start.

  2. Change your email address

Update your primary email from account settings yourself; your account keeps all of its projects and data under the new address.

  3. @-mention your uploads in chat

Images you drop into the chat composer now appear in the @ menu under “Uploads,” so you can reference them by name: “update @my_logo.png to match @reference.png.”

  4. Copy a link to a canvas selection

Select two or more nodes (or a single node or field from the right-click menu) and copy a share-aware link.

    MoreLess

Whoever opens it lands right on that selection, Figma-style.

  5. Share a link to a workspace

Hover a workspace in the switcher to copy a link that opens FLORA directly in it — handy when you work across several sub-workspaces.

  6. Deck text links & a bigger deck node

Highlight any text in a deck and drop a URL into the new “Links to” field, and edit on a deck node that is now 1.5x larger on the canvas.

  7. Copy and paste deck layers

Right-click a Decks layer to copy it and paste it onto another slide, keeping its formatting and position.

  8. Grok in Open in Agent

The Open in Agent dialog adds Grok Bot and Grok tabs, each opening with your project prompt prefilled.

Improved

  1. Smarter bulk connections

Connect a mixed selection (say an image and a text block) to another node in one go.

    MoreLess

Bulk drops are now all-or-nothing and tell you why a connection won't fit, instead of silently dropping it.

  2. Faster graph rewiring

Merge input bundles onto a different node type, copy a bundle with Option, and duplicate outgoing wires, so rearranging a canvas behaves the way you expect.

  3. “Clear node” keeps your setup

Clearing a node now wipes only its output and keeps the model, parameters, and prompts, so you can duplicate a canvas, clear the results, and reuse the whole setup for the next project.

  4. A quieter canvas for power users

Two new preferences (Account → Preferences → Canvas) let you hide model logos on nodes and collapse input handles.

  5. Continue chat media on the canvas

Open media generated in chat straight into a project, with clearer media-toolbar tooltips along the way.

  6. Resizable chat panel

Drag the side-panel chat to the width you want; it is remembered per browser.

  7. New chat in a new tab

Cmd/Ctrl-click (or middle-click) any “New chat” control to open a fresh chat in a new tab.

  8. Clearer deck editing

The editor's small X is now a labeled “Save and Close” button, and a node's Tools dropdown scrolls instead of getting clipped off-screen.

Fixes

  • The canvas recovers on its own from a lost graphics context instead of crashing the app.
  • Fixed corrupted canvas text that could leave a stuck “Inpainting” header.
  • Downloads from the share modal keep their file extensions.
  • A click-then-drag on a node is no longer mistaken for a double-click.
  • The deck editor no longer renders below the top of the window, and version-refresh toasts stay clickable.
  • You can now add images to an Element created from the library without an active project.

No. 083,

New Dimensions

3D takes center stage this week: bring your own models in five new file formats, generate with two new 3D engines, and reach for Claude Opus 5.5 on any node. We also made Explore more inspiring and cleared out the bugs that got in your way.

📦 New

  1. 3D imports, unlocked

Bring your own 3D models in glTF, OBJ, STL, PLY and USDZ, not just FBX.

    MoreLess

Each file is converted and prepared automatically so it drops straight onto the canvas, ready to view and build on.

  2. Tripo P2 & Meshy 7.1

Two new models join the 3D node.

    MoreLess

Tripo P2 adds fine control over texture quality and face count; Meshy 7.1 brings smart-topology and low-poly modes with higher-resolution geometry — so you can dial in exactly the mesh you need.

  3. Claude Opus 5.5

Anthropic's newest model is now available, with Low, Medium and High thinking levels so you can trade speed for depth on your most demanding creative and reasoning work.

  4. Remix in Explore

See something you love in Explore?

    MoreLess

Remix opens Create already seeded with that post's first turn, so you can start riffing on it in a single click.

  5. Reference inputs in Explore

Published outputs now reveal the reference inputs behind them, making it easier to see how a result was made and reuse the approach.

  6. More canvas control for agents

Agent and API workflows can now update and remove canvas nodes, arrange them into rows, columns or grids, and auto-fit note text to its content.

🧠 Improved

  1. A richer Explore feed

Explore now alternates verified and regular posts and surfaces more work per creator, so the feed stays fresh and varied.

  2. Sharper Seedance 2.5 video

Seedance 2.5 now defaults to high bitrate, so your generated video looks crisper straight out of the box.

  3. Clearer API Keys page

When you reach the active-key limit, the page now explains it instead of quietly hiding the Create API Key button.

  4. Cleaner labels

“Project Chat” and “Decks” (formerly “Slides”) are renamed for clarity across the canvas.

  5. Smoother large canvases

Panning and hovering stay fluid even on projects packed with nodes.

  6. Steadier Create reference gallery

Pinterest imports, queued refinements and recovery from stuck states all work more reliably.

🛠 Fixed

  • Fixed unexpected sign-outs that could happen after an authentication token timed out — you stay logged in.
  • 4K video renders no longer time out before they finish.
  • On mobile, reaching a video limit now shows the upgrade option instead of an error.
  • The canvas Library stays open while you work in stacked dialogs.
  • Zoom-to-fit now frames tightly grouped content correctly.
  • Generations are no longer marked as failed when they actually started successfully.
  • The Create navigation tooltip now correctly reads “FAUNA.”
