Who it’s for

Working creative professionals

Designers, filmmakers, fashion and brand teams who want to learn creative AI tools on their own work, and keep their careers moving as the field changes.

Taught by working creatives

  • Catherine Chung

    Catherine Chung

Catherine Chung has 7 years of experience as a professional multi-disciplinary designer, where 3.5 of those years were spent at Pentagram under Michael Gericke. Her experience spans across marketing, packaging design, signage, type design, illustration, logo design, web design, brand strategy and visual branding.

Her extensive experience in the trenches of the creative industry has taught her how important creative thinking and reasoning become when working with AI, and she makes it a priority to communicate this practice to FLORA customers for a smoother tool adoption experience.

  • Sasha Zabegalin

    Sasha Zabegalin

Sasha Zabegalin is a self-expression technologist, with a career spanning AI, fashion, digital art, and creative education.

Sasha is a Forward Deployed Creative at FLORA, working directly with people figuring out where AI fits into their creative practice. Through demos, custom workflows, and hands-on teaching, he helps creatives explore FLORA through their own ideas and experience. That work has included people at Under Armour, Complex, MSCHF, and Highsnobiety.

Through it all, Sasha’s mission remains clear: to help shape what comes next for creatives and make technology more human, expressive, and radically personal.

  • DJ Kim

    DJ Kim

DJ Kim is a New York-based creative technologist and AI workflow specialist with 8 years of commercial video and post-production experience. He currently leads creative R&D on AI-driven production pipelines at FLORA for design, filmmaking, VFX and more. He is a passionate educator as well for AI production workshops, bringing hands-on production expertise to students and consumers.

As a graduate of NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at Tisch, his practice spans media art, computer vision, and AI-assisted visual effects, built on a foundation of real production work across industries.

  • Kate Burmatnova

    Kate Burmatnova

Kate Burmatnova is a Forward Deployed Creative at FLORA, where she’s part of the core team building FLORA for fashion teams. Before joining FLORA, Kate spent 18 years as a fashion designer, leading knitwear and cold-weather accessories design for some of New York’s top fashion houses. She’s known for turning early creative direction into garments that work commercially and hold up technically, and for guiding teams through the whole process, from first sketch to factory handoff.

Kate’s work has always paired luxury craft with forward-looking design, and at FLORA she brings that same production-minded approach to AI-powered workflows. She shows designers how to move faster, explore more ideas, and keep the precision that real collections require.

  • James Kelley

    James Kelley

James Kelley is a Forward Deployed Creative at FLORA, where he designs workflows and custom tools that help creative teams get more out of the canvas. As a trained industrial designer, James still approaches AI the way a designer approaches a product: start from how people actually work, then build tools that fit.

At FLORA, that means building custom canvas actions, connecting FLORA to AI agents through MCP, and sharing workflows like Timeline Editor and Elements with the FLORA community. In his teaching, James shows creatives how to stop working around their tools and start designing the ones their process needs.

Before you start

Do I need any AI experience?

No. Most people start with zero, and our free Labs are built for first-timers.

What’s the difference between a Certificate, an Intensive and On-Demand?

The Certificate is six live weeks with Catherine Chung and ends with two portfolio projects and a certificate. Intensives go deep on one craft: four live weeks of film or five of fashion. Labs and webinars are free and live every week. On-Demand is free, pre-recorded video you watch anytime.

What makes Fieldwork different from other AI education?

You learn live from working creatives who use these tools on client work every day, with feedback on your own projects. The focus is your craft and process, not a tour of the latest tools.

Can I try something free before committing?

Yes. Labs and webinars are free every week, and every On-Demand video is free to watch.

What does a Certificate get me?

Two finished portfolio projects, a certificate that shows AI fluency on your résumé, FLORA usage during the program, and a cohort and alumni network that lasts past the six weeks.

Will AI replace creative jobs?

We don’t think so. AI changes how the work gets made, but taste, judgement and craft still decide what’s good. The creatives who learn to direct these tools are the ones who will shape what comes next.
