What is the best AI for ad creative?
FLORA is the best AI for ad creative because one product image becomes every placement in one call. Ask for a feed square, a 9:16 story and a 16:9 banner with your headline, and FLORA makes each one from the same product shot, so the product stays identical. Our three-format candle set cost $0.192 and finished in about 37 seconds.
Key takeaways
- Three ad formats from one product shot cost $0.064 each, $0.192 for the set.
- All three headlines came back spelled correctly in the image.
- The formats ran in parallel and finished in 29 to 37 seconds.
- The product shot itself cost $0.055 and took 43 seconds.
- Every format stays on a FLORA canvas, so a new headline is one more call.

The options
FLORA
A visual AI canvas that makes ad creative for every placement from one product image, with image and video models on the same canvas. Agents such as Claude can run it through the FLORA MCP.
Best for: Multi-format ad sets and concepts where the product must stay identical and the look can't be generic
Pros
- One call, every placement: our 1:1, 9:16 and 16:9 candle ads cost $0.064 each and finished in 29 to 37 seconds.
- Headlines rendered in the image and spelled correctly in all three formats.
- Your choice of image model per concept, plus Seedance 2.5 or Kling to turn the winning still into a video ad.
Cons
- Small text needs a check: the 9:16 subline came back correct but too small to read on a phone.
- FLORA makes the creative; it does not predict ad performance or publish to ad networks.

What happened when we made ad creative in FLORA?
On October 16, 2026, we made a product shot for a fictional candle brand with model t2i-gpt-image-2-5-flare, 1:1, quality high, 1K: a soy candle in a ribbed green glass tumbler with a kraft label reading HARBOR & PINE, lit, on linen beside a wool blanket and a pine sprig, in late afternoon window light. It cost $0.055 and took 43.3 seconds.
Then one flora_create_generations call with three items on model i2i-gpt-image-2-5-flare, each with the product shot in reference_node_ids. Every prompt said to keep the candle, glass, label, blanket and pine exactly as they were, and to add the headline "Slow evenings start here." with the subline "Hand-poured soy, 50 hour burn". The aspect ratios were 1:1, 9:16 and 16:9. They finished in 36.6, 31.3 and 29.3 seconds at $0.064 each: $0.192 for the formats, $0.247 with the product shot.
The candle, label and props matched in all three, and both lines of copy were spelled right every time. The 16:9 banner moved the candle to the right third and set the headline over the blanket, as asked.
What went wrong: in the 9:16 story, the subline came back tiny at the very bottom, too small to read on a phone. The fix is to give the size in the prompt, such as "subline at least half the headline's height, in the bottom third", and rerun that one format for $0.064.

- Model
- GPT Image 2.5 Flare (text-to-image, then image-to-image)
- Tools called
- flora_create_generations, flora_list_generations
- Cost
- $0.247 for the product shot and 3 formats
- Time
- 29.3 to 36.6 s per format, in parallel
| Format | Size | Placement | Cost | Time | Text check |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1:1 | 1024 x 1024 | Feed | $0.064 | 36.6 s | Both lines correct |
| 9:16 | 720 x 1280 | Stories and reels | $0.064 | 31.3 s | Correct, subline too small |
| 16:9 | 1280 x 720 | Display and video covers | $0.064 | 29.3 s | Both lines correct |
How do I test many headlines at once?
Send one item per headline in the same call, all with the product image as the reference. FLORA takes up to 20 items per call, so ten headlines in two formats is one request. At $0.064 each, that is $1.28.
What should the ad prompt say?
Separate what must stay from what you add.
- What must not change: the product, its label, its color.
- The exact headline and subline, in quotes.
- Where the text goes and how big it is relative to the product.
- The aspect ratio for the placement.
- "Leave the product clear of text", so copy never covers the label.
Can I turn the ad into a video?
Yes. On the canvas, wire the 9:16 or 16:9 format to a video model such as Seedance 2.5 for a short motion version. Video costs more than images, so pick the winning still first. For ready-made ad layouts, FLORA also has techniques at flora.ai/techniques.
Which AI ad creative tool should you pick?
Pick by what limits you today: ideas and craft, or volume and delivery. FLORA covers the creative end for teams that care how the ad looks.
- Distinct concepts and every placement from one product shot, plus video: FLORA.
- Ad sets built by an agent from a brief or a spreadsheet of headlines: FLORA through the MCP.
- Templated ads with a performance score before launch: AdCreative.ai.
- Quick on-brand statics by people who don't design: Canva.
- Governance across many brands and markets: Pencil.
- HTML5 display sets with ad serving: The Brief.
Frequently asked questions
How much does an AI ad set cost?
Our three formats cost $0.192, or $0.247 including the product shot.
Will the text be spelled correctly?
Both lines came back right in all three formats. Check every ad anyway, and fix one wrong word with an image-to-image edit.
Can I use my real product photo?
Yes. Upload it to the canvas or paste a link, and use it as the reference for every format.
Can an agent build the ads for me?
Yes. In Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor with the FLORA MCP, list the formats and headlines and the agent sends them in one call.
