Director 1.1, a Home for Styles & a Tool-First Dashboard

・

Director can now hit an end frame, follow a soundtrack, and stream in 1080p. Your trained styles get a real home in the Library — with folders, covers, and workspace sharing — and the dashboard is rebuilt around tools, with universal search and project folders. Plus one-tap edits on Generate, projects on your phone, and a big batch of canvas and collaboration upgrades.

New

  • Director 1.1 — open a session on a first frame and steer it toward an end frame, play to an audio clip, and add new keyframes or clips on any direction mid-stream. Streams natively at 1080p (at 2× the credit rate), and sessions can now run up to 15 minutes. Recorded clips save as a flat MP4, so they open cleanly in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere, and QuickTime.

  • A tool-first dashboard — the sidebar is regrouped around creating, your content, and Tools — where Fashion Studio, Bulk Generate, Pose, Realtime, and Editor Mode now live. A universal search palette finds anything (project results show thumbnails and open in a new tab), and a unified Library page brings your assets together. Projects get their folders back, plus drag-and-drop, multi-select, right-click menus, and pinning. New project, New Technique, and Request a Technique are always one click away; the sidebar footer shows which workspace you're in, with pinned workspaces first in the switcher; and a new MCP entry links to setup guides for Claude, Cursor, and Codex.

  • Remove background, Mark up, and Video on Generate — three new one-tap actions on any image result. Remove background gives you a clean cutout, Mark up lets you draw a region or pick a detected object and describe the change, and Video adds the image as a reference and switches the composer to MiniMax H3 Max Turbo — now Generate's default video model. After your first result, a light nudge points out the tools you haven't tried yet.

  • Node tags, a project inbox, and pinned comments — a project-scoped notification bell lives on the canvas, and you can #-tag any node in a comment — clicking the tag selects and centers it. Comment threads placed on a node now move with the node; drag one off to detach it.

  • Color tags and downloads in Review Mode — color-tag generations as you review, filter the set by color, and download the filtered group as a zip without leaving Review Mode. Review generations now brings in every history variant on a node, not only the one it's currently showing.

  • Bria Ad Delayer — hand it a finished, flat ad and get it back as editable layers — background, product cutout, and copy — each landing as its own image on the canvas. In the image-to-image picker at a flat $0.37 per request.

  • Shift-drag to reroute wires in bulk — Shift-drag from an output to move every connection leaving it to another output in one motion, or Shift-drag an input to move a node's whole incoming bundle. Snaps to compatible handles or the node body.

  • Drop to replace — press Replace on a node, then drag a same-kind node, a sidebar or history asset, or a file from your desktop straight onto it. No more download-and-reupload.

  • Animation playback on 3D nodes — models that carry animation clips get Play/Pause, a clip picker, and Loop, right beside Photo, Video, and Sheet.

Improved

  • MiniMax H3 Max Turbo at 1080P — now offered alongside 480P and 768P for text-to-video and image-to-video. H3 Max's aspect-ratio Auto option and prompt-expansion tiers (Disabled / Balanced / Quality) are labeled to match.

  • Mention techniques with # in Fauna chat — type # to pick one of your techniques or a community technique and drop it into the conversation as a chip.

  • Create shows its thinking — watch the model's latest thought as it works and expand the full trace, with less play-by-play between tool calls. The + menu can attach a reference straight from your library, and Create now reconnects on its own if the stream drops.

  • Smarter canvas placement — nodes that Fauna or Create add to a canvas no longer land on top of your existing work.

  • Keyboard navigation in add-node search — Up and Down to move through results, Enter to add — just like the model dropdown.

  • Home feed scrolls infinitely — no more Load more on Home and profile Images. Verified creators are no longer capped at three posts per page.

  • Fashion Studio, refocused — seven tools retired (Multi-Angle Shoot, 360 Model Video, Concept, Fabric Swap, Garment Swap, Model Maker, Photo Shoot) and the onboarding tour rebuilt around the eight that stay. Projects that used a retired tool keep its tile, marked deprecated.

  • API and MCP on the Free plan — API keys and MCP access are now available to Free workspaces, with an install guide on an empty canvas.

  • Anyone can add Slack — any workspace member can connect Slack from Settings — admin permission is no longer required.

  • Batch Generate — a Watch how it works link in the page header, and after importing four or more compatible assets you'll be offered a batch run.

  • Fewer New badges — the model picker's New badge now lasts 14 days instead of 30, and stale badges are gone from the Integrations tab and Export node.

API & MCP

  • Batch generation from MCP — start a batch of generations in one call with flora_create_generations, and read the whole batch back with flora_list_generations by run ID. Hosts that support MCP Apps render it as a live board.

  • Share a project by link from the API — three REST endpoints (and client.projects.sharing in the SDK) with the same permissions and link semantics as the canvas Share tab, plus matching MCP tools: flora_share_project, flora_get_project_sharing, and flora_update_project_sharing.

  • 3D generation over MCP — model3d runs end-to-end with text metadata, preview images, and a GLB download link.

  • Sourced generations and member lists — POST /generate accepts reference_node_ids so API generations stay wired to their sources, and GET /workspaces/{id}/members lists workspace members.

Fixes

  • Custom voice uploads now tell you what went wrong (unsupported file type or over 10 MB) instead of showing an empty review screen.

  • Hitting an admin-set per-member usage limit fails immediately with a clear message instead of appearing to hang.

  • A tab left open across a deploy now offers a one-click refresh instead of “This node failed to render.”

  • Free workspaces on Generate see the upgrade prompt before a video submit, rather than a failed run.

  • Viewers opening a link-shared project no longer get the “choose a workspace” modal.

  • Org admins with an analytics assignment can open Settings → Analytics even with subworkspaces off.

  • Leaving inpaint or outpaint restores the node's previous model, and switching models keeps upstream inputs in order.

  • Image nodes no longer crash when browser storage is full, and expired workspace invitations are hidden from the switcher.

  • Referrals survive cross-device checkout, and picking an empty-state example on Generate keeps the deep-linked model.

  • Review Mode grid rows no longer overlap, and Generate result trays stay usable on small images.

  • Mobile: previous Fauna threads load on project pages, chat pickers open above the composer, and the skills panel stays on screen.

  • The comments discovery nudge's Got it button is clickable again, SVG outputs render in technique app mode, and technique pages load reliably.
