FLORA Update

FLORA
Today we're launching Fashion Studio, built on top of the full FLORA canvas and purpose-built to solve the end to end fashion creative workflow.
Fashion is one of the hardest industries on earth to work in, and it isn't because the ideas are hard. The difficulty lives in everything standing between the idea and the garment. You're choosing fabric types and colorways, waiting weeks on a sample that comes back not quite right, and moving between tools that were built decades ago and never really got better, each one with its own handoff, each one asking you to put down the thing you're making so you can go learn software instead.
The craft is beautiful. The process is punishing. That’s what we set out to solve.
Fashion Studio is the most direct, craft-forward path from an idea in your head to a rendered piece. You can go from a sketch to a photorealistic garment to campaign in moments, then stay in it as long as you like, pulling on a seam or changing a button until it meets your bar. Because it's built on our canvas, none of it has to happen in a straight line. You can branch off from three steps back, keep both versions side by side, and reach for the FLORA canvas when deeper exploration is the call.
Seeing is how creatives think
A sketch isn’t just a sketch; it's a thinking tool, and the fastest way to get an idea out of your head. And when you see your idea (on a swatch, in a pattern, on a model, or from multiple angles), you know when it’s worth exploring further. Fashion Studio picks up right there, and sets your idea in motion, with no friction between steps.
With Fashion Studio, nothing gets misread between the sketch and the rendering anymore. Leadership sees exactly what the final product will be. We sign off early and move straight to production. I'm still deciding every fine detail, the way sketching by pen used to let me.

The groupings below follow the way a project usually moves, though nothing stops you from working out of order, or taking a detour to the canvas for more exploration. Best of all, the tools all work together. Take your napkin sketch to render, swap the color and the fabric until it reads the way you pictured it, and then see it worn on a model from as many angles as your campaign needs.
Concept:
Sketch to Render: Turn a hand-drawn fashion sketch into a photorealistic garment render
Concept: Combine reference images and a direction into new design concepts
Prompt: Describe the piece in words and get a rendered garment back
Garment Extractor: Upload an outfit and extract pieces of the outfit
Refine:
Garment Recolor: Take in a garment and change the color
Fabric Swap: Take in a garment and change the fabric
Ghostform: Turn a flatlay garment into a ghostform, giving it a worn 3D shape
Flatlay: Turn a ghostform garment into a flatlay, flattening its 3D shape
Review Mode: Share looks with your team and collect their comments in one pass
Campaign:
Model Try-On: Take in a model and have them wear a garment piece
Garment Swap: Swap a garment on a model from one image to another
Model Maker: Create a model and generate a model headshot
Multi-Angle Shoot: Generate alternate angles of a shot
360 Garment Video: Take in a garment and create a 360 video
360 Model Video: Rotate a model through a full turn with the outfit and background holding steady
Connect to Shopify: Export website-ready assets to Shopify
It's worth noting that every tool was tested by working fashion designers on real garments, judged the way they'd judge a sample. We ran that testing tool by tool, so each one uses whichever model actually does that job best. A recolor doesn't cost you what a full campaign shoot does, and you never have to think about which model you're on.
No one should be limited by where they sit
See an idea come to life typically relies on access (to tools, people, budget, studio days) and proximity (to vendors, samples, decision-makers). This is inherently unfair, and also means that it’s not always the best idea that ships. That's the part we want gone. A designer at a two-hundred-person brand and a founder doing it on their own can now reach for the same tool and get access to the same content quality. The craft doesn't change based on the size of the company.
FLORA takes anything from my brain and creates it so I can see it, before I ever put pen to paper. With Fashion Studio I can turn my idea into photorealistic product shots that come from me, the designer, not someone else's vision. You're able to create things you never thought you could, because they were stuck in your head. They don't have to be anymore.

The merchants I work with are competing against brands that produce new catalogs every season with production budgets they don’t have access to. What FLORA Fashion Studio changes is that the quality of your imagery is no longer determined by the size of your photoshoot budget. I’ve seen that firsthand with my own brand, Tiny Tuckets, where much of our product imagery is now created in FLORA.

When we first built the canvas in FLORA, we had a fundamental goal: to give creatives the best tool possible and make it feel natural. That goal hasn't changed. Fashion Studio is the first time we've taken it all the way into one discipline, learning how fashion people actually move from a thought to a finished campaign and building to that shape rather than to a generic one.
Fashion Studio is included in all plans, and you can even try it out for free today. We can't wait to see what you create.
