FLORA
TL;DR: We're moving FLORA off credits and into dollar-denominated pricing. Here's what's changing, and why we're putting Nano Banana 2 and Pro on us until 7/1. Detailed plan information can be found here.
Every creative AI platform charges in credits, puts credit costs next to every generation, and calls it transparency. It isn't. It's basically an arcade with better lighting. You swap $20 for tokens at a made-up exchange rate, and the tokens make the spending feel less real until you look up and the cup is empty.
Our users felt the pain. Credits made every generation a small financial decision, and creative work doesn't survive that. That’s why we’re doing away with credits. Plans are priced in dollars, usage is measured in dollars, and the per-generation price tag is out of your line of sight while you work.
What's actually changing
Every plan now comes with a usage budget in dollars. A Pro seat is $50/month, and for a limited time, this comes with 2x ($100) usage; add a teammate and you're at $100/month sharing a $200 pool. Plans support up to eight seats, and the budget scales with each one.
Every model has a published price. Nano Banana 2, for example, is $0.077 per image, and when someone runs one, the usage bar moves a fraction of a percent and the dollar amount lands in your usage history for client billing. What's gone is the price tag on every model card, the mental math before every click, the counter ticking down in the corner of your eye.
A few things of note:
FAUNA's chat layer is free on every tier. Brainstorming, ideation, agent runs, all of it. Note: generating an image, video, or audio file pulls from your pool at the model's price.
Team usage is pooled across seats. Heavy users and light users share the same budget, so a workspace pays for capacity rather than headcount. You're still paying per seat, but a four-person team gets a four-person pool to spend however they need to.
On-demand spending is opt-in with a cap. If you want to go past your included usage, you turn it on, set a monthly limit, and pay at the same published prices. No surprise bills, and no quiet repricing of usage you've already paid for.
Existing credits convert to account balance. Every 1,000 credits becomes $1 of dollar-denominated balance that draws down at the same published prices, doesn't expire on you, and shows up in usage history alongside your subscription pool.
Nano Banana, on us
To kick off pricing that doesn't get in the way of the work, Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana Pro are on us until 7/1.
Pro: weeknights 7pm–2am EST and all weekends
Max: 24/7, with priority queueing during peak demand
Enterprise: 24/7, with priority queueing and fair use
API and Techniques not included in promo
We could call this unlimited. Most platforms do, and then capacity gets tight, generation times balloon, off-peak windows quietly extend, and "unlimited" means "available at 3am if nothing else is running." The Pro windows are when we have capacity to deliver fast generation. The queueing on Max and Enterprise is because peak demand is real, and we'd rather tell you about it than have you discover it in the middle of a deadline. And if you want to know the real limit, Nano Banana 2 is capped at 150 generations/hour/user, and Nano Banana Pro is capped at 75 generations/hour/user. Translation: you can create a lot.
The math is off the canvas, so go make something.
